IAEM Membership
IAEM brings together emergency managers and disaster response professionals from all levels of government, as well as the military, the private sector and volunteer organizations in the U.S. and around the world. There are currently more than 4,000 IAEM members.
The membership belongs to the member jurisdiction or entity paying the dues. If the individual representing that jurisdiction or entity leaves, the membership may be transferred to another individual who manages the emergency management program. However, the individual representative may maintain the membership only if the paying jurisdicition provides written approval transferring the membership to the individual.

Beginning Apr. 1, 2008,
IAEM begins its membership promotion
by crediting membership dues payments
received to next year's dues. Therefore,
if you pay the full membership dues fee, you will receive the months up to Sept. 30, 2008 for free - and your membership will not
expire until Sept. 30, 2009.
(1) Individual Member - $170 USD for IAEM U.S. members ($100 for IAEM Canada members; $83 for IAEM Oceania members; $80 for IAEM Europa members; $80 for IAEM Asia members; and $50 for all other non-U.S. members). (2) Affiliate Member - $795 USD (any non-governmental organization/party which provides products, services or other resources which support IAEM and its members).
(3) Student Member - $25 USD (student members need to carry a course load of 12 or more college credits OR 9 college credits while obtaining a master's degree).
