• Sept. 19, 2008, CEM® Prep Course/CEM® Exam, held during Department of Defense’s Fourth Annual CBRN Consequence Management Conference, Fort Belvior, VA
  • Downloadable registration form and details - The deadline for registration has been extended to Sept. 12, 2008.
  • The visitor authorization form must be submitted to visitor.control@dtra.mil no later than Sept. 12, 2008.

• Oct. 13, 2008, CEM® Introduction Presentation & CEM® Exam, held during International Disaster and Emergency Readiness Conference (IDER) at the BT Centre, 81 Newgate Street, London EC1A 7AJ (near St Paul's Cathedral).
  Note: The Introduction Presentation will be included in the CEM® Exam fee. This is NOT an overview of the CEM® Exam, simply an introduction presentation. REGISTER ONLINE HERE.

• Overview of the CEM® exam;
• Standards upon which the CEM® exam is based;
• Sample CEM® exam questions; and
• A Q&A period. 

Who should attend?

• The CEM® Exam Prep Course is intended for professional emergency managers interested in obtaining the Certified Emergency Manager® (CEM®) designation.
• A Certified Emergency Manager® is an individual who possesses the knowledge, skills and abilities to effectively manage a comprehensive disaster/emergency management program.
• That program can be in, but is not limited to, government, business and industry, military, health care or educational institutions.
